At the Royal Palace with its magnificent seven sculptured gates, your guide will take you for a drive via the Mechouar to the inspiring Dar el Makhzen for a short break that will be on leaving your hotel around 09.30. Through the Mellah, you walk from here ,with its intense environment and excellent models of Mauro-Hispanic structural design. Then you will take a look at the panoramic view of the Medina,then you drive to the Borj.
At Bab Boujloud that built in 1913, is the main entry to Fès el-Bali, in which you take a taxi to The largest medersa constructed in the 14th century by the Merinids, that is the gorgeous Medersa Bou Anania (entry fee included) that will be visited after you start your Walking Tour to the ancient Fes Medina that is preserved under UNESCO World Heritage Site. The close one to the medersa (shut on Tuesdays) is Dar el-Magana is called clepsydra, or water clock. Inspite of its strong bad smell it is one of the most picturesque souks in Fez, renowned Tanneries on the bank of the Oued Fes.You go on via es-Seffarine and its brass workers, down the colourful es-Sebbaghine with its Street of the Dyers ; to the exterior of the remarkable al-Quarawiyyin Mosque and University and the el-Atterine Medersa (includes entrance fee) and the Souq el-Atterine area of spices and groceries. Abou Said Othman the Merinid Sultan who built ,what is considered between 1323 &1325 as one of the marvels of Moorish structural design.
The mausoleum of Moulay Idriss the second Idrissi ruler that you pass by , built in the 18th century and rehabilitated in the mid-19th century and regarded as the founder of Fez. the charming el-Nejjarine Square with its spring and caravan (fee included in the entry) that is your final stop.
After this marvelous stroll inside fez ,then you have the choice either you take the taxi for the short ride back to your accommodation, or return on foot .

A tour around the ramparts with its many Babs(gates) and a visit to the renowned Museum of Moroccan Art, the famous Fes Pottery Kilns, the exquisite Mosques and Medersas, the well known Tanneries, the Medina and Souqs, and the Mellah. we Leave the hotel at 09:00 O’clock.we begin our drive through the Mechouer to the Dar el Makhzen to pause for some 15 minutes at the majestic royal Palace ,then we carry on to the south Borj in fes Medina. we start our Walking Tour by the amazing old Fes Medina ( a UNESCO World Heritage Site) to see the workers at es-Seffarinem then the colourful es-Sebbaghine with its Streets unified dye coulour .Through the twisting pathways to the inspiring el-Quarawiyyin Mosque and University, the good-looking el-Atterine Medersa; the Kissaria and Draz sectors and Oued Fes’ Tanneries.After we proceed to the eminent Souk(market) of el-Atterine which emits a sweet smell of spices and vegetables.
Later on we go to the Dar Batha and to the Museum of Moroccan Art .then we shall visit the pleasant el-Nejjarine Square. After we’ll stop for a very tasteful lunch whereas drinks are not included at the delightful Restaurant of Palais Mnebhi. Afterwards we drive to the 16th Fakhkharin (century Potters’ Quarter), not distant from this area we find Bab Ftouh and exactly a zone called Guerouaoua.our fez trip is still continuing by visiting Saadien dynasty traffic control tower at the North Borj established in the sixteenth century.
At the end we conclude our journey by exploring the secrets of the giant eye-catching walls, with its good-looking shape Babs(gates)that give the city a panoramic view.
